Cook it once, eat it twice

Around 5pm today we went for a walk in the park and on the way home ran into our neighbor Jack who we hadn't seen in awhile; I had a few glasses of champagne - yada yada yada - and we are now having Veal Paprikash (actually vittelone - a humane form of veal) that I made earlier in the year straight out of the freezer. I'm just boiling some noodles to serve it over and added some sour cream to the stew and we're set. I'm telling you the freezer is the best invention! On the other hand I did remember the other day that I had to do an intervention on a friend who had about 10 ziplocs full of black bananas in her freezer thinking that she would make banana bread someday. The first step is admitting that you have a problem, then call me and I'll bring the garbage bag.
