Milk Punch for the dog days of SF fall

The past 2 days have been our hottest of the year, and when that happens I make my Milk Punch for a late afternoon cocktail to cool me down. For those of you who live in hot places - this is for you!!! - beware, it packs a punch!

Milk Punch serves 2

3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup cream
5 oz bourbon
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
fresh grated nutmeg

In a blender add all ingredients and about a cupful of ice. Blend and serve over ice with a sprinkle of nutmeg. Beware of potential afternoon delight
