strawberries and cream

Ice cream that is. I made a quick refreshing dessert. Basically I made a vanilla milkshake - good vanilla ice cream blended with a little milk. On top I spooned in a little of my strawberry rhubarb jam. Cool, refreshing and slightly sweet. Happy summer!

PS. in a pinch if you haven't made the jam - although I highly recommend you do - just puree a few strawberries with a little lemon juice.
