2020 what a fucking year.

I mean it. It started off well enough, we went to visit Gary and Linda in Maui for my birthday in February  and really thank goodness we did - as that seems to be our last trip for awhile...

Also in February my dear friend Caroline took me to see Hamilton in SF at the end of Feb and all I can say is - wow - glad we did that too! Then March - as soon as I heard the Bay Area was getting shut down I called Richard at the beach and said you should go get Sarah. He said, well, call her and see if she wants to come here. I called and the first thing she said was "Come get me!" so he did and we have had a roommate ever since. THAT has been our silver lining in all this craziness. I'm just glad that the "child" we got is 23 - speaking of which here is her 23rd bday in May - can you say sparkles?

Oh and the ONE time we have bothered to "dress" for dinner (meaning other than PJ's) and before we knew how to wear our masks Linda made for us (upside down)

Other than that - we've just been trying to stay sane and healthy - and been playing with our new outdoor kitchen...
What else can I say? I'm thankful we have had all this time to spend together - all the meals and the adjusting to living with a 3rd person have been lovely. I miss our "normal" social life - but for now, I'm grateful we are healthy and safe in our home. Love these 2 people so much, I couldn't do it without you, or wouldn't be motivated to anyway - thank you for all YOUR love and support!

Post Note - thank goodness trump is on his way out - not soon enough for me but I'll take it. THAT is another blessing in my book.

Post Post Note - our house didn't burn down - again! jeez, see title.
