Fresh Shell Beans


Just had to show a picture of these amazing beans I got at the market today - look at the surprise bright pink ones- Fresh Cranberry Beans! Easy to shell (well worth the trouble) and cooks in about 20 min. Use in place of any bean recipe, like my Bean & Barley Soup or a Pasta e Fagoli Soup - Just amazing, although the fantastic color fades when you cook them. Next week I'll try Iacopa's Fresh Italian Beans - little like a cannelini.
