Pressed Sandwich for the ball game!


As much as I like getting snacks when we go to a Giants game, sometimes it just pays to bring your own. Pays meaning, you don't pay through the nose to get something to eat. I'm not knocking our ballpark - I love it! Going to see the Giants play is one of our favorite things to do. Anyway, my real point is this sandwich is perfect for any sort of outing be it the park, the beach or whatever. When I made my Pressed Sandwich this time I used prosciutto and fresh mozzarella instead of salami and goat cheese on an Acme herb loaf and topped it with a little sundried tomatoes and fresh sorrel that I had leftover from that f*king mustard (I guess that means all was not lost!) The variations are endless! Wrap tightly in foil and it just gets better as the day goes by...
