This is the view from our little vacation rental here in Healdsburg. Actually, it's the view from Richard's desk. (Wish we actually were on vacation but we have to work!) We're over on Fitch Mountain on a dead end street and behind that big redwood is the Russian River. It's pretty damn cute over here and we've been enjoying walking around to see all the interesting homes on this side. This is more of a summer vacation area so right now it's pretty quite and the locals are very friendly. As soon as we get our new house I'll post some before pictures, just wanted to give a glimpse into our new town. I'm not cooking right now much to my husband's chagrin - just can't seem to get into this little kitchen and not really having MY stuff on hand. He's having to see how the other half lives!
