Parish Cafe

Now if you were around during the 80's this picture might mean something else to you - but it's just powdered sugar! This is what fell off our quickly munched down hot beignets at The Parish Cafe - a newish cajun restaurant here in Healdsburg that we love! I don't usually go for the beignets but today we went with a friend so it was nice to share. Our standing order is fried okra and a shrimp po'boy sandwich. If we are really feeling hungry then we'll split an additional cup of gumbo - so nice to have someone else make this for me! Not open for supper yet - so go early for lunch.
