I love this soup! When fresh shell beans are in season this is my favorite - I'm sure it tastes good with dried beans, but if you can get your hands on the fresh it's worth the shelling. Fresh Shell Bean Soup - topped with shredded parmesan and a slice of garlic bread on the side - perfect meal! Even got to use some of my own tomatoes!!!
