When tomatoes are finally ripe...


It's been a cool summer up here in Healdsburg, so everybody's tomato plants have been slow to produce - mine are finally full of red ones so I made a Greek salad. Just chop a few cucumbers, cut up some fresh tomatoes, top with feta, drizzle with olive oil and s&p to taste. Some people like red onion, but you know how I feel about raw onions. If you have a few olives on hand, put those in too. Simple.

Post note: normally I don't- but was feeling like some balsamic drizzled on top. Sweet and salty goodness.
