I love pear season! I've been addicted to these little seckel pears I've been getting at the farmer's market up here (and one day hope to have a tree of my own!) but this week there were a ton of bartletts so I made my Pear Butter - this time I had a couple bottles of Simi Cuvee which is a little sweet so I used that and it turned out great. Will be applying it to toast soon!
